This is a photograph that Brad took of an European Golden Plover as it stood facing us on the tundra. In flight this species displays white axillaries (not grey-brown like the Pacific Golden Plover). Temperatures were in the low 50's on this partly cloudy to cloudy morning with intermittent rain.
