After descending the Stalheimsklevia into the Nærøydalen Valley during the morning of Wednesday, July 28, 2010, we drove through the 12 kilometer long Gudvanga Tunnel heading northeast along the E16 on our way to Flåm for lunch at the Fretheim Hotel. After lunch, we spotted this Great Tit (and family) perching in trees on the property. We photographed this bird when it landed on a nearby slate roof. Temperatures were the low 70's with partly cloudy skies.
