After driving from Eidfjord through Brimnes to catch a ferry across Kinsarvik fjord at Kinsarvik on Friday, July 30, 2010, we stopped for lunch at the Best Western Kinsarvik Fjord Hotel. After lunch we spent time visiting the local park, medieval church/graveyard, and dock area to do some birding. This is a photograph of the fjord that we took as we headed from Kinsarvik out into the Hardangerfjorden to Kvandal with a stop in Utne. Temperatures were in the mid-70's on this cloudy afternoon with intermittent rain.
