We left Canopy Lodge after an early breakfast on December 25, 2009, to head for the dry Pacific lowland around the small community of El Chiru. The sun illuminated this beautiful male Baltimore Oriole just as Brad snapped its picture. Temperatures were in the low 80's (and climbing) on this partly cloudy morning.
