We were birding in an area known as La Mesa during the morning of December 24, 2009. It was overcast with temperatures in the upper 70's. We were standing on a hillside (near an abandoned house) looking down into a ravine when Brad took this photograph of a Bronze-tailed Plumeleteer. This species has pinkish-red feet and a white vent.
