The morning and early afternoon of December 26, 2009, found us birding in the highlands of Cerro Gaital. We hiked up a steep trail in Bosque Nuboso (Sendero Path) to a lookout area with an observation platform where the views were spectacular. It was a cloudy day with intermittent rain and temperatures in the 70's.
