After a full morning of birding on December 24, 2009, we headed back to Canopy Lodge for lunch and some much needed down time. We were sitting on the balcony of our room watching the clouds and rain come in over the surrounding hills. This Common Tody-Flycatcher flew in and spent a few moments flitting around the nearby foliage (just long enough for a photograph). Temperatures were in the mid-70's on this rainy afternoon.
