This is a photograph of a male Dot-winged Antwren that we took near the end of our birding trip to Plantation Road. Temperatures were in the upper 90's on this partly cloudy afternoon. The male's longish tail is tipped in white and is often fanned. The male is a glossy black color with a broad white bar on the wing.
