After breakfast on December 27, 2009, we drove to a finca (farm) that we had birded the previous afternoon to try and pick up some additional species. While still at the Canopy Lodge, we photographed a male Flame-rumped Tanager and a Clay Colored Thrush on one of the platform feeders. A Dusky-faced Tanager with its pale eyes, olive-yellow chest and crown, blackish throat and sides of head is perched on a branch to the left of the feeder. Temperatures were in the low 70's on this partly cloudy, windy morning.
