This is a photograph of a male Green Honeycreeper that was taken from the porch at El Valle's Canopy Lodge which was our base for the next four days of our journey. Feeders at the lodge are strategically placed and typically loaded with fruit to attract birds. Temperatures were in the upper 70's on this partly cloudy afternoon.
