After birding in the Parque Natural Metropolitano (Metropolitan Park) during the morning of January 2, 2010, we drove to Parque Municipal Summit to look at the Harpy Eagle before heading back to Canopy Tower for lunch. Temperatures were in the low 90's on this partly cloudy, humid afternoon. Joanne is shown standing next to the Harpy Eagle sign. The wing span of the Harpy Eagle is close to 6.5 feet.
