This is a closeup shot of the bill of an Olivaceous Flatbill that we took near the end of our birding trip to Plantation Road. This species has a broad, flat bill with a white eye-ring. The bird has olive upperparts and pale yellow underparts. Temperatures were in the upper 90's on this partly cloudy afternoon.
