We took the Panama Canal Railroad back to Panama City from Colon on the afternoon of December 31, 2009, after a morning of birding along Achiote Road. This is a photograph of the Gamboa Lighthouse that Brad took from the train's Observation Car. The lighthouse is located on the west side of the Chagres River, at the entrance to the Gamboa Rainforest Resort, in the town of Gamboa.
