After a full morning of birding on December 24, 2009, we headed back to Canopy Lodge for lunch and some much needed down time. We were on the lodge's porch waiting for the weather to clear, when we saw this female Red-legged Honeycreeper feeding on one of the platform feeders. Temperatures were in the upper 70's on this cloudy afternoon.
