After a full morning of birding on December 24, 2009, we headed back to Canopy Lodge for lunch and some much needed down time. Brad and I enjoyed sitting and relaxing outside on our balcony which overlooked the gardens. Even though it was raining, we did see this Rufous-tailed Hummingbird bathing in a puddle of water contained in a palm leaf. Temperatures were in the mid-70's on this rainy afternoon.
