This is a photograph of Southern Beardless-Tyrannulet that we took during our first afternoon at El Valle's Canopy Lodge. We were hiking along the road between the lodge and a zip line area to look for Mottled Owls when we sighted this species perched in a tree. Temperatures were in the low 80's on this partly cloudy afternoon.
