This is a photograph of a male Yellow-faced Grassquit that we took during our first afternoon at El Valle's Canopy Lodge. We were hiking up the road between the lodge and a zip line area to look for Mottled Owls when we sighted this species. Temperatures were in the low 80's on this partly cloudy afternoon.
