We birded along Sapote Creek the morning of Wednesday, January 18, 2012. During our morning break aboard the Aquamarina, Brad and I looked for birds near a reedy area where the ship was moored. This male Chestnut-bellied Seedeater, Sorophila castaneiventris, was one of the species that we photographed from the upper deck. Temperatures were in the low 80's with partly cloudy skies.
