We birded along Yanallpa Creek, the narrowest and smallest creek that we traversed during our Amazon journey, the morning of Thursday, January 19, 2012. Brad took a dorsal view shot of a Green-backed (White-tailed) Trogon, Trogon viridis, that was perched in a river edge forest. Faint horizontal white barring can be seen on the wings. Temperatures were in the upper 70's with clear skies and high humidity.
