After a morning of birding at Refugio de Vida Silvestre-Pantanos de Villa Marshes (Lima, Peru) the morning of Friday, January 13, 2012, we drove to a beach area near Club Garza Real to look for shore birds while on our way to Pucusana. I took this photo to show a large flock of gulls landing at the beach near Club Garza Real. Temperatures were in the mid-80's with hazy skies and high humidity.
