We were birding along Sapote Creek the morning of Wednesday, January 18, 2012, when Brad photographed a Horned Screamer, Anhima cornuta, that gave us a good dorsal view as it flew over our skiff. (A wing spur is visible at the bend of the bird's right wing.) Temperatures were in the upper 70's with partly cloudy skies.
