This photo shows the ever encroaching village of Pucusana that I took from the village's port/dock area. Pucusana is a fishing village that is located 60 Kilometers south of Lima on the western coast of Peru bordering the Pacific Ocean. Explosive growth hasn't allowed urban planning to keep pace with such things as sewage treatment and garbage handling. Late afternoon temperatures were in the mid-80's with bright, sunny skies and high humidity.
