We birded along Sapote Creek the morning of Wednesday, January 18, 2012. We were headed back to the Aquamarina for lunch when a group of Amerindian women and children on a floodplain or váreza forested area greeted us by wading out to our boat to show us some of the hand crafted goods that they had for sale. Temperatures were in the mid-80's with partly cloudy skies.
