We spent the morning of Monday, January 16, 2012, birding along Yarapa Creek, a tributary of the Amazon (South Bank). We were heading back to the Aquamarina for lunch when I photographed one of the structures that we saw along the blackwaters of the Yarapa. Temperatures were in the upper 80's with hazy skies and high humidity.
