During the afternoon of January 7, 2012, Brad and I walked around San Isidro (Lima) to see what was in the area surrounding our hotel. We photographed the main spire of the Virgen del Pilar Church during our walk. Father Mariano Arrien was responsible for the church's construction and aided in its design. The church belongs to the congregation of the Passionate Priest and was the first parish founded in San Isidro (1932). Temperatures were in the upper 80's on this overcast, humid afternoon.
