Brad and I spent January 9, 2012, birding around our hotel, the Sonesta Posadas del Inca Sacred Valley, Yucay, (Urubamba) Peru. Brad photographed a Chiguanco Thrush, Turdus chiguanco, as it perched in one the hotel's garden areas. This Andean thrush is a dull gray-brownish color with a bright orange bill and legs and a red iris. Temperatures were in mid-70's on this lovely morning with partly cloudy skies.
