After lunch at the Café Inkaterra at Machu Picchu on January 10, 2012, we entered the site. Huayna Picchu is shown on the right with Una Picchu to its left. All buildings on Machu Picchu had thatched roofs. A modern replacement sits atop the building on the lower right. This was one of our first views of the ruins once we were past the Control Point. Temperatures on this overcast afternoon with low hanging clouds were in the upper 60's.
