It turned out to be a crazy train ride to Ollantaytambo the afternoon of Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Music played and costumed masked porters did traditional dances in the aisle both to entertain us before a snack and prepare us for the sale's pitch that was to come afterward. Male and female porters (best looking/pretty ones) donned alpaca shawls, sweaters, and other expensive outfits to put on a fashion show....and sell, sell, sell to the tourists. Well, it did help pass the time since it was dark outside. Once in Ollantaytambo, we took a bus to Cuzco where we spent the night before flying to Lima the following morning.
