We left Yucay by bus early in the morning on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, for the train station in Ollantaytambo. This is an important halfway station between Cuzco and Machu Picchu. Here we caught the Hiram Bingham Train for a 1.5 hour ride that took us through the Sacred Valley of the Incas to Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes). Brad took this photo of the sights ahead of us as we rode on the left hand side of the first car. Temperatures outside were in the 60's on this overcast morning with intermittent rain.
