We spent the afternoon of January 10, 2012, visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site (1983) of Machu Picchu. We were in the area of the Temple of the Condor when this photo was taken. A natural rock formation was skillfully used by the Incas in their construction efforts. This is yet another example of the fine masonry skills exhibited throughout the site. As the afternoon wore on, skies began to clear with temperatures in the low 70's.
