This photograph was taken during a Zodiac cruise around the uninhabited seabird reserve of the Flannan Islands (west of the Island of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides). The Zodiac cruise afforded us close-up views of this species. The weather was beautiful with temperatures in the high 50's and partly cloudy skies. This evening cruise was one of the highlights of the trip.
