This photograph was taken as we walked around the island of Hirta in St. Kilda. This isolated archipelago is 40 miles west-northwest of North Uist in the North Atlantic Ocean. It contains the westernmost islands of the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. It was a partly cloudy morning with temperatures in the low 60's.
