This is a photograph of a plaque that discusses the Munich Stained Glass Windows that were installed in St. Mungo's Cathedral in the mid-1800's. The windows deteroriated much more rapidly than anticipated and by the mid-1900 most of them had been replaced (some with clear glass). Three of the original Munich Stained Glass Windows have been conserved and are on display. Only a few of the original windows are still in-situ such as the small rose window above the door in the south wall of the nave. Temperatures outside were in the high 50's on this partly cloudy to sunny afternoon.
