This is a photograph of the Iona Nunnery which was built in 1203 by Reginald MacDonald for Augustinian nuns. The Island of Iona lies off the south-western tip of Mull in the Inner Hebrides and is geologically distinct from the main island. It was a partly cloudy morning with temperatures in the low 70's.
