This is a photograph Joanne standing next to a megalith in Ring of Brodgar located on mainland Orkney. The third stone to the north of the present day entrance (not shown) is of interest. Even though the megalith is now only a broken stump, it has runic graffiti carved in its surface presumably by a 12th century Norse visitor. Temperatures were in the mid-60's on this partly cloudy to sunny morning.
