This is a photograph of Joanne standing near the megaliths in the Ring of Brodgar. The Ring of Brodgar is the finest known truly circular late Neolithic or early Bronze Age stone ring and belongs to a distinct class of monument known as a henge. It is enclosed by a massive ditch and has two entrance causeways. It is located on mainland Orkney. Temperatures were in the mid-60's on this partly cloudy to sunny morning.
