This photograph of Joanne was taken as we cruised on the Aleksey Maryshev near the small Isle of Staffa located off the western coast of Mull in the Inner Hebrides. Staffa is famous for its hexagonal columnar basalt geology. Fingal's Cave located in the same area inspired Mendelssohn to write his Hebrides Overture (Fingal's Cave). Temperatures were in the high 60's on this partly cloudy to sunny afternoon.
