This is a photograph of the Bishop's Palace. The original of this palace was built for Bishop William the Old in the 1150's and remodelled in 1600 by Earl Robert Stewart's son, Patrick. The palace is located in Kirkwall on Mainland Orkney. The weather was pleasant with temperatures in the high 60's.
