Brad took this photograph of Black-legged Kittiwake as it flew over the ship. This species is easily identified by its "dipped-in-ink wing tips" and is the most common gull in Svalbard. Temperatures were in the low 30's with intermittent light to heavy fog on the evening of August 5, 2010.
