We boarded the National Geographic Explorer in Longyearbyen's harbor via zodiacs around 1600. After check-in, unpacking, and our mandatory life boat and evacuation drills, we went topside to take photos. This Northern Fulmar was one of the few birds that flew by us. Temperatures were in the 40's with partly cloudy skies.
