Our Lindblad city tour of Oslo took us by Oslo's two-year old Opera House. Our bus driver (by popular request) stopped nearby so that we could photograph the glass sculpture floating in the Oslofjorden. The sculpture, She Lies, seems to float on the waters of the Oslo Fjord but is actually standing on a concrete platform. Designed by the Italian artist Monica Bonvicini, the sculpture turns on its own axis, moved by the winds and the tides. Temperatures were in the low 70's with cloudy skies and intermittent rain.
