Before our Lindblad city tour of Oslo, Brad and I walked around the grounds of the Royal Palace and Gardens, Akershus Castle, and the National Theater. This is a photograph of the National Theater which is near the Royal Palace. This building dates from 1899 and is a mix of baroque and rococo elements both inside and out. The statue on the right is of the playwright Henrik Ibsen. Beautiful flowers fill the flower boxes above the entrance. Temperatures were in the low 70's with partly cloudy skies.
