Brad took this photograph while we were Zodiac cruising along the coast of Storøya. There were too many Walruses surrounding our Zodiac to count. Walruses with longer tusks seemed to make our Zodiac driver nervous. This could be due to the fact that they've been known to rake their tusks along the bottom of a Zodiac. Both male and female Walruses have ivory tusks. Those of the male are usually longer and thicker than those of the female. Temperatures were in the low 30's on this cloudy afternoon.
