This photograph was taken along a trail while we were visting the Wahalla Fish Hatchery in the Chattooga National Forest in North Carolina. Temperatures were in the high 60's on this partly cloudy day. I first thought I saw a butterfly flitting around in the shrubs. However, closer examination yielded this beauty.
