We took this photograph of a Common Yellowthroat while hiking around Forty Acre Lake in Brazos Bend State Park (UTC117) near Needville, Texas. It was an overcast day with temperatures in the upper 40's to low 50's and high wind conditions. This is a first winter male showing a vague mask.
