This Montage contains some of the photographs of Golden-cheeked Warblers that we took while visiting Friedrich Wilderness Park in San Antonio, TX. The first photograph shown (Row 1 on the left) was taken on June 6, 2004. The remaining photographs were taken on April 22, 2011. The odds are pretty good that while the Golden-cheeked Warbler is in the area, one probably can be seen at the water feature near the windmill at Friedrich between 0800-1100. We like going early to avoid the heat and humidity. The last photograph in the Montage (Row 7 on the left) shows a Nashville Warbler (with this male's chestnut-colored crown patch showing) on the left and a Golden-cheeked Warbler on the right.
