We birded in Rock Creek Park early in the afternoon of May 15, 2010, during a trip to Washington, D.C. This male Magnolia Warbler was creeping through the vegetation below the walkway behind the Nature Center. Rock Creek Park is administered by the U.S. National Park Service and is a good D.C. birding location. This photo shows a nice side-view of the bird. It was a partly cloudy afternoon with temperatures in the low 70's.
