Brad and I were hiking near Elm Lake in Brazos Bend State Park (near Needville, TX) during the morning of April 1, 2011, when we spotted and photographed this Prothonotary Warbler. The morning started out with heavy fog and temperatures in the low 70's. The weather cleared as the morning progressed, and temperatures rose into the mid-80's.
