We birded along Yanallpa Creek, the narrowest and smallest creek that we traversed during our Amazon journey, the morning of Thursday, January 19, 2012. When the birding got slow, I took this photo of the local flora consisting of ivy, shrubs, and trees that grew in dense stands along river islands abutting the creek. Temperatures were in the low 80's with clear skies and high humidity.
