This photo shows a waterfront home built on the rocky coast of Pucusana that I took from our skiff while we were on a pseudo-pelagic birding trip. Pucusana is a fishing village that is located 60 Kilometers south of Lima on the western coast of Peru bordering the Pacific Ocean. Late afternoon temperatures were in the mid-80's with bright, sunny skies and high humidity.
